RadioOut of the Ashes: Our special report on the 10th anniversary of the Cedar Fire, the worst wildfire in California history, aired on KNSJ radio in 2013. The one-hour East County Magazine program hosted by Miriam Raftery received a first place award from San Diego Press Club in 2014 for specialty reporting and second place for community services program from the Society of Professional Journalists, San Diego chapter in 2014.
